THE “FOLLOW THE DOLLAR” SCHOLARS PROGRAM

This Scholars Program enables high-ability middle and high school students with financial-need to realize their full academic potential. The Follow The Dollar Young Scholars Program has to date supported over 900 students across Florida and Georgia, providing them with international and individualized educational advising combined with across-the-board financial support from the 6th grade through 12th grade.

THE THEOLA DORSEY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was established in the Summer of 2016 to honor the life of Theola Dorsey and to continue her legacy of excellence, generosity and service. The Theola Dorsey Memorial Scholarship is an annual, merit based competition that focuses on rewarding ambitious, driven, goal-oriented individuals with a background of consistent civic involvement or community service. This is a one-time award of $500. Financial need is considered, however, all high school seniors or college freshman are encouraged to apply. Assisting others in making their dream of attending a college or university a reality is the primary goal of the scholarship committee. Finalists will be chosen with the award recipient selected in May.

THE ZACHERY RICHARDSON FOLLOW THE DOLLAR SCHOLAR SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was established in the Summer of 2016 to assist students with ADD, ADHD, and Dyslexia that desire to attend college or a trade school. This scholarship is designed to honor Zachery Richardson and to continue his legacy of excellence, generosity, creativity and service for all mankind. The Zachery Richardson Follow the Dollar Scholar Scholarship is a yearly, merit based competition that focuses on rewarding ambitious, driven, goal-oriented individuals with a background of self-sufficiency, consistent determination and community involvement or community service. This is a one-time award of $1000. Financial need is considered, however, all high school seniors, college freshman and trade school students regardless of your age are encouraged to apply. Assisting others in making their dream of attending a college or trade school a reality is the primary goal of the scholarship committee. Finalists will be chosen with the award recipient selected in April.

THE ANDRE RICHARDSON PROVOLUTIONARY SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was established in the Summer of 2016 to assist American citizens who have spent time behind bars, but have decided to take advantage of being given a second chance on life. It is designed to honor Andre Richardson and to continue his legacy of keeping his words and not giving up on life. Andre spent 15 years behind bars for selling drugs. While in prison he promised his little brother that if he was ever given a second chance to right a wrong he would learn a trade and become a productive citizen. After his release he attended trade school and became certified in HVAC systems. He has worked for the same company for 12 years. He is now a responsible father, husband, and community leader. The Andre Richardson Provolutionary Scholarship is a yearly, merit based competition, that focuses on rewarding ambitious, driven, goal-oriented individuals with a background of self-sufficiency and determination to obey the law. This is a one-time award of $1000.

*The money for these scholarships will come from donors, sponsors, and the sale of the book, “Follow the Dollar,” Secrets Rich White People Taught Me About Success and Influence book. When the book becomes a ‘Best Seller’ the number of scholarships will double.
